Ways to save money on flights to Istanbul

The easiest way to save money on flights to Istanbul is by planning your vacation outside the high season. By May tourists start flocking to Turkey and there are many of them spending the vacation here in September, as well. So, in order to save money, plan to fly in March, April or October. The weather is still nice but the prices are lower.

You also should look into catching a connecting flight from a major European hub. Especially if you fly North America or Australia, plan to make a stop in a large airport, such as London, Paris or Amsterdam. Then, catch a low-cost flight into Istanbul.
